My name is Alex Kushleyev and I am a graduate student and a research staff member at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. This page has some information about the work that I do, my interests, and some free software, which I have written for use in various projects.

My background is in Electrical Engineering, and, although I adore working with electro-mechanical devices, my work is also strongly coupled with design and implementation of planning and control algorithms, sensor signal processing and filtering applications, writing and testing device interfaces, developing and working with various simulation environments.

I work under the guidance of Professor Vijay Kumar, Professor Daniel. D. Lee and Dr. Maxim Likhachev - great researchers and mentors.
